5 Steps to a Mess-Free Oil Change

Attach the Mow Flow Pro STEP 01
1

Attach the Mow Flow Pro

Twist the Mow Flow Pro in a clockwise manner into the mower's oil fill tube until it is snug. Don't over tighten it โ€” just push and twist until it is snug.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Make sure the engine is warm (but not hot) for the best oil flow. Run the mower for 2โ€“3 minutes before starting.
Stretch a balloon over the device STEP 02
2

Stretch a Balloon Over the Device

Take one of the included heavy-duty balloons and stretch the opening over the Mow Flow Pro's outlet end, extending down to cover the oil fill tube about 1 inch. This creates a sealed, leak-proof container that catches every drop of used oil.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Use 4 fingers to stretch the balloon opening and in one motion cover the Mow Flow Pro and oil fill tube.
Tip the mower on its side STEP 03
3

Tip the Mower on Its Side

Carefully tilt your mower toward the oil fill side. The oil flows through the Mow Flow Pro funnel directly into the balloon. No drip pans, no puddles, no mess on your driveway.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Always tip the mower with the air filter facing UP to prevent oil from flooding the filter housing.
Tie off and dispose responsibly STEP 04
4

Refill with Fresh Oil

Remove the Mow Flow Pro, set your mower upright, and pour in fresh SAE 10W-30 oil to the full mark on the dipstick. You're done โ€” your mower is ready to go and your driveway is spotless.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Honda recommends SAE 10W-30 for most climates. Check your owner's manual for the exact capacity (usually 12โ€“13 oz).
Tie off the balloon with used oil STEP 05
5

Recycle Old Oil

Once the new oil is in the mower, pour the contents of the balloon into the empty oil container and take it to your local oil recycling center.

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip: Most auto parts stores (AutoZone, O'Reilly, etc.) accept used motor oil for free recycling.
